You are cordially invited to the monthly (September) meeting of the DC Metro Final Cut Pro Users Group.

Over the course of the summer, we’ve been busy with various projects and connecting with new Washington Metro creative talented professionals and with sponsors. One of those talented production professionals is Dennis Boni. As an editor, we know the flexibility in the edit suite is only as good as the content’s quality.

Be prepared to ask questions and in the process, learn what editors need to know to communicate to production teams who create all that wonderful content you get to cut in the edit suite. You’ll be surprised how much influence editors can have on the selection of the formats, cameras and specifications. It can make the difference between getting higher quality gear at near the same price as lower quality gear for the acquisition phase of production. This is one of the reasons I strive to educate our community on the technical aspects of creative filmmaking as well as the creative side. Dennis is talented at both sides. Come on out and meet him and stump the experts!
