Hi,
Wanted to tell you about a new product called Modogrip. It’s a product that works with a monopod. Modogrip enables videographers/filmmakers to get dolly shots in a instant, produce steady camera like shots and jib arm/ boom shots. Best of all it’s a all-in-one device and portable.
Check it out on our Kickstarter!

If you could blog about it to your readers…it would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks,
Andrew Magpoc

Hello, my name is Frelimo Simba I’m a member of DC Metro Final Cut Pro User Group. I’m looking for someone to complete a final edit for a doc on African American firefighters in American. In short its a pet project I’ve been working on for a couple of years now while still in school and I’d like to have it completed and out to a particular film festival by March 1, 2012. Please feel free to email me for more info, if interested in the project or can just point me in the right direction of a good local editor. My email address is fds987@aol.com
Thanks,
Frelimo Simba

Hi Rodney,
I’m sure you saw this ‘earth-shaking’ announcement: http://www.studiodaily.com/blog/?p=8433 (FCPUG Changes Name to Creative Pro Users Group)
Is our part of the earth going to shake the same way, or is that covered by the ‘For Cutting Professionals’ name tweak?
Thanks,
David

Hi David:
Yes, our name is changing to (DC, MD, VA) DMV CPUG (Creative Pro Users Group)… I’ve got a webmaster / graphics person in California working on the new site design. Stay tuned for the next meeting! The “Cutting Professionals” was a working title!
It’s all goodness!! Hope to see you soon at a future upcoming meeting.
