    Today, DCFCPUG staff met with Ryan Boze of Digital Video Group (DVG) in Chantilly, Virginia about their upcoming event featuring a live demo of the new APPLE FINAL CUT PRO Version 7. Apple reps, AJA, JVC and other vendors will be on hand to explore with you the total tapeless workflow experience while showing off the new JVC GY-HM700 and GY-HM100HD camcorders and direct SOLID STATE recording to Quicktime files for instant access workflows in Apple’s Final Cut Pro 7.

    Representatives from DVG, JVC, Apple, and AJA will be on hand to answer your questions and provide you with hands on demonstrations. This open house is FREE and refreshments will be provided.  Please RSVP below and indicate which open house you will be attending!     DCFCPUG is partnering with the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University to host our next meeting/event – Film Financing 101 (The DIY Basics) and the The Storytelling Craft, featuring screenwriting consultant Jim Mercurio.

    The event takes place on April 24, 2009 in Georgetown.

  • CONTEST: Aperture Nature Photography Workshop

    Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to each winning photographer. The prize package is subject to change at the full discretion of the Aperture Nature Photography Workshops.

    As of October 1, 2008 the prize package includes but is not limited to:
