Today, DCFCPUG staff met with Ryan Boze of Digital Video Group (DVG) in Chantilly, Virginia about their upcoming event featuring a live demo of the new APPLE FINAL CUT PRO Version 7. Apple reps, AJA, JVC and other vendors will be on hand to explore with you the total tapeless workflow experience while showing off the new JVC GY-HM700 and GY-HM100HD camcorders and direct SOLID STATE recording to Quicktime files for instant access workflows in Apple’s Final Cut Pro 7.

Representatives from DVG, JVC, Apple, and AJA will be on hand to answer your questions and provide you with hands on demonstrations. Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to each winning photographer. The prize package is subject to change at the full discretion of the Aperture Nature Photography Workshops.

As of October 1, 2008 the prize package includes but is not limited to:

WHAT: Prize package is described below and for the first section, the winner must be available to attend a workshop at Yellowstone National Park, April 29 – May 2, 2009.
