Rodney,
This is very exciting! I was very impressed with the workshop, I learned a lot – what I didn’t understand I wrote down! We plan on using Resolve at BonoLabs as we expand our services. As you know, we are a small business and are on the lookout to progress in a rapidly evolving field.
Many thanks for putting on the workshop; even without the software, I am extremely fortunate to attend free events such as the Resolve presentation this past Tuesday – courtesy of the DCFCPUG.
Best Regards,

Rodney,
Thanks for the good news and for organizing the DCFCPUG/Blackmagic Design workshop on DaVinci Resolve, which provided a great overview of the capabilities of the software. I thought David Catt, who travelled from Australia to make the presentation, managed to convey a great deal of useful information in the two-hours available for the workshop.
I plan to use the prize to familiarize myself with Resolve in greater detail and then to incorporate the program into my post workflow, together with Apple Color. I currently use the Euphonics (now Avid) control surface with Color, so I will be carefully watching the announcements at NAB in hopes of news that the Euphonics panel will soon be supported in Resolve.
Thanks again,
Kevin
