If you have serious editing experience, can work under pressure and have a resume ready of your prior work, you might get picked to help us fill an associate editor role (in Virginia). The primary editor works out of Los Angeles, California.

We are shooting with a pair of Panasonic HPX3700 P2 HD VariCam Cinematography Camcorders (list price at $60K each)

    Shooting at 1920 x 1080 with the AVC-Intra 100 codec, 10 bit, 4:2:2…@24Pn
You will need to work from a FCP 7 baseline so you can deal with the AVC Intra100 codec.
When the transcoding format decision is made, the media will be transcoded to a codec like Apple ProRes…

Please send your resumes to the contact address for DCFCPUG asap…
Time is of the essence and your destiny awaits you…

Aren’t you glad you are a member of the DC Final Cut Pro User Group…??

Looking forward seeing others from our user group engage on this project…
Makes for a nice resume addition.

Have a great week and here’s to great movie making!
