Final Cut Pro – Visibility Lights and the Arrow Keys
These lights control more than just your audio and video.
Visibility lights
Did you know that the visibility lights have an effect on the behavior of the up/down arrow keys?
Normally, when the visibility lights are on, the video is visible, the audio is audible, and pressing the up/down arrow keys jumps to the next/previous edit point.
However, when the visibility light is off for a track, the video or the audio becomes invisible, and pressing the up/down arrow keys skips all edit points on the track.
