Final Cut Pro – Boosting Low Audio
Here’s a great tip to boost audio in Final Cut Pro 5 and earlier.

If you are working in Final Cut Pro 5 and you have an audio clip that was recorded at too low a level, simply cranking up the volume controls won’t give you the loudness you’re looking for.
Instead, try “stacking” the audio clip(s) by copying and pasting them in multiples to bring up the overall volume level.
Isn’t that simple?
Note: Starting with Final Cut Pro 6, Apple added a normalize command that does a better job (Modify > Audio > Normalize).
