Final Cut Pro – Searching Browser Columns
The best thing about a database is search-ability. The Browser has it, too!

Find Next
Looking for something in an overcrowded Browser?
To find the information you want, go to Edit > Find (or type Cmd+F), and select the column(s) you want to search. (Selecting Any Column is always a good place to start your search.)
Type the keyword or phrase you want to locate and FCP displays all the clips that match your criteria.
Note: If you’ve renamed a Comment column header in the Browser, you have to search by the column’s original name, as FCP does not display its new name in the Find pop-up list.
