Well, fellow DC Final Cut Pro Users, the day has final come that Apple, Inc has FINALLY updated the http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/resources/communities.html webpage to reflect the current status of the worldwide user groups!!!!!

Look for DCFCPUG in the USER GROUPS – USA section, left column, ninth entry!

Two years of struggle has finally paid off!

Enjoy the elevated status and exposure…  We’ve earn it!

Final Cut Pro – Trashing Final Cut Pro Preferences

There are five rules to trashing your Final Cut Pro preferences:

1. Never trash preferences if Final Cut is working OK. Never trash preferences “just in case.” Only when Final Cut is broken.
2. Never trash preferences with Final Cut running. Final Cut must be quit.
3. Always trash all four preference files as a group, not just one at a time.
4. Only trash files, never trash folders.
5. Always empty the trash when you are done.
