    Tip of the Day!

Final Cut Pro – Quick Import Tip

Here’s a fast way to import a gaggle of clips into a Bin

    Bin 1 - Import - Files

Because dragging a slew of clips and trying to accurately hit an itty-bitty Bin folder depends too much on my fatigue factor, my preferred method is to Control-Click the Bin in the Browser I’d like the imported clips to land in and choose Import Files.

From the Choose a File window, you can preview clips and Command-Click to select the ones you want. Click Choose and, Ta-DAH!, all your chosen files show up in the Bin you wanted them to land in. No chance of missing the Bin.

    Very slick!
