		<description>Absolutely, but not a forum, an email list!  Yes, everyone gets too many emails already, but the immediacy is very useful when questions arise.  For example, if someone has a technical problem I can answer, I won't be of any help unless I happen to log into the forum and read the messages...

I don't have time or inclination to cruise forums regularly but I do read emails!

		<description>I go to the COW for tech stuff (seems to be the largest pool) but for anything that's specifically local, such as gigs, meetups, equipment sales, etc - I'd think it would be a good idea.</description>
